You want to sell. You want to learn fast. You’d rather build the playbook than follow one. This role puts you at the center of Union’s fastest-growing channel, with a clear path into sales and the freedom to use AI to do more than anyone thinks one person can.
About Union
Union exists to move hospitality forward so everyone wins: the operators who run the venues, the staff who bring them to life, the guests who fill them, and the brands that want to be part of it. We built the operating system that powers it all: a purpose-built POS platform for high-volume bars and restaurants, a consumer app that connects guests to the venues they love, and an advertising and data platform that puts brands in front of consumers at the exact moment they’re ready to spend. 1,500+ venues. $2B+ in annual transactions. Millions of consumers. And a network that gets more valuable the more it grows. We’re not just running hospitality operations. We’re redefining what the hospitality experience looks like for everyone in the room.
The Role
Union’s national network of ISOs and independent agents is one of our biggest growth engines. Our Partnership Channel Manager owns those relationships. You make the whole engine run faster.
As our Channel Sales & Operations Rep, you’re half seller, half operator. You keep agents fired up, keep every deal moving, and get contracts from quote to signed. You build the automated engagement that keeps hundreds of agents active. And you use AI to do it smarter and faster than anyone has before.
You won’t be five layers down. You’ll work next to our CMO, CRO, and channel leads, and sit in deal reviews with people who’ve built and sold companies in hospitality tech. You’ll learn more in a year here than in three somewhere else.
Your path: Our goal is to promote you into a closing role in 12 to 18 months. Here’s what gets you there: growing active agents, signing channel deals, and building a process the team still uses after you move up.
What You’ll Do
Keep agents active
You’ll be the day-to-day point of contact for our agents. You check in on quiet agents, re-engage them, and get them submitting leads again. An agent who hasn’t heard from Union in 30 days is a lost agent. Not on your watch.
Keep pipeline moving
Every partner-sourced deal has a next step and a date. Nothing falls through the cracks. You follow up on agent leads fast, spot stalled deals early, and help the Partnership Channel Manager push them to close.
Get deals across the line
You’ll build and send quotes and contracts, chase signatures, and hand clean deals to onboarding. Speed from quote to signed is your scoreboard.
Build engagement at scale
You’ll create automated email sequences for agent onboarding, activation, and re-engagement. You’ll help manage the partnerships email base: lists, segments, and regular sends. You track what works and keep making it better.
Be the go-to for partner questions
Product, pricing, process, deal status. Agents need answers fast so they can keep selling. You’ll give them those answers, and turn the questions you hear most into resources they can use without calling us.
Build the AI engine behind our channel
Automated sequences. Smart follow-ups. Call summaries. Instant answers for agents. You’ll find the tools, build the workflows, and ship them. Your ideas go live, and the whole team uses them. If a task happens twice, you’re automating it.
Own real numbers from week one
Active agents. Leads submitted. Deals signed. Quote-to-signed speed. These are your numbers, and leadership will know them.
What You’ll Learn
- Channel sales. How ISOs, agents, and residuals work, and how partner deals really get done.
- Deal structuring. Quoting, pricing, and contracting in payments and POS.
- Payments economics. How money moves and how a payments company makes it.
- Sales operations. CRM, forecasting, and building systems that scale.
- AI workflows. How to put AI to work inside a real revenue team. Every company will want this skill.
- How to close. Straight from the people doing it every day.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years in sales development, account coordination, partner support, or another customer-facing role. You’ve worked a pipeline and you know what follow-through looks like.
- Startup hunger. You want to build, not just maintain. You raise your hand, own the outcome, and don’t wait to be told.
- Hands-on with AI. You already use AI tools in your work and you’re excited to find and implement new ones. You see automation as a way to do more, not do less.
- Obsessively organized. You live in a CRM and you like it clean. Multiple partners, multiple deals, nothing dropped.
- A clear, fast communicator. You write emails people actually answer and you’re comfortable on the phone with agents and venue operators.
- Better every day. You look for what’s broken, fix it, and help the whole team level up with you.
- Hungry to grow into sales. You want to learn the channel motion inside and out and earn your shot at a closing role.
- Bonus points: experience in payments, POS, or hospitality, HubSpot or email automation tools, or time behind a bar or in a restaurant.
Why Union
- A real path into sales. A 18m promotion goal, to a channel manager or Account Executive role building and closing your own portfolio
- Access you won’t get anywhere else. Work directly with senior leadership from day one.
- Your customers are the fun ones. Bars, sports venues, and the spots where people watch the big game and celebrate on a Saturday night. This isn’t HR software.
- Real products, live venues, day one. No vaporware. You’ll support partners selling a platform already processing billions in transactions across 1,500+ venues.
- An AI-forward team. Your experiments become the team’s tools.
- A team in Austin that moves fast, takes the work seriously, and believes hospitality is worth getting right.
This role isn’t for everyone. It’s fast. It’s scrappy. You’ll own real numbers from week one. If that sounds like fun, we want to talk.
