Delete Seat – Released
Users can now delete seats from tables. “Delete Seat”, “Change Guest Count”, and “Delete Empty Seats” buttons are accessible on the Check Ordering Screen within Table Layout. When decreasing the number of seats users cannot decrease the number of seats below one, and items on deleted seats will move to the seat below. “Delete Empty Seats” only show if there are empty seats.
Taxes on Gratuities – Released
Certain states require tax to be added to gratuities. Users may now enable “Taxes on Gratuities” from the Manager Portal which will ensure the tax rate will now apply to the gratuity amount in the POS.
Live Refresh – Released
When Union is backgrounded it will now refresh. Previously the app stayed static when backgrounded. Users could see a loading indicator after bringing the app back up in the event your POS was backgrounded or has a network disruption. This release should eliminate most instances of duplicated clock in.
Manager Portal “Remember Me” – Released
Users can now select a “Remember Me” Checkbox on the Manager Portal Login. This will keep the user logged in from that device for thirty days. Without selecting the Checkbox users will remain logged in for eighteen hours.
Print Single Receipt – Released
Venues that want to only print one credit card receipt now can. Inside the Manager Portal settings for receipts users can now toggle off “Print Customer Copy”. This will result in only one receipt being printed at the time of payment processing.
Reusable Sizes on Menu – Coming Soon
Users will be able to create reusable sizes within their menu. A Sizes page will be viewable from Menu Set-Up where users can see a list of their sizes and have the ability to create unique sizes that are reusable across their menu.
