AUSTIN - Prep for SxsW 2023 with Union
SXSW IS KICKING OFF ON MARCH 10th!
This is an awesome time of year in Austin, and we’re as stoked as you are for the energy, visitors, and business this event brings to our city. Scroll below for some quick questions to ask yourself in preparation for the big event.
SXSW Readiness Checklist
1. Is all of your hardware working?
It’s a great idea to check and make sure all your hardware is operating as expected. Especially if you have any hardware that you only use during these busy events. We recommend testing everything and reach out to our support team if there is anything that needs to be addressed.
2. Do you plan on taking any hardware offsite?
If so give our support team a call to discuss how to make sure you won’t have an hiccups when taking your Union system to a temporary home.
3. Are you set up and ready to go with Union Mobile and Manual Card entry on your POS?
If you currently aren’t utilizing Union Mobile it’s a phenomenal solution for events like these that can put the POS in the hands of all of your guests with QR-code, Guest Led Ordering. Additionally if you are currently using a separate device for manual entry, reach out to your Account Manager or a Support Team Agent to learn more about how to utilize Union Mobile or get set-up with Manual Card Entry on your POS terminals.
4. Are your Menus good to go?
If you utilize or could use some assistance setting up a special events menu, we are happy to help. Please reach out to a Support Team Agent to expedite getting your request to our Menu Building Team.
5. Do You Have Waitlist Enabled?
As the crowd line up outside you’ll be glad to have Waitlist up and running – talk to your account manager about waitlist before the big event!
