Position Overview:

As a Market Development Leader at Union, you will be a key player in establishing our presence in the vibrant Miami market. We are seeking a market development expert with a robust network, deep industry knowledge, and exceptional product expertise. In collaboration with our central corporate team in Austin, Texas, you will leverage your existing connections to drive Union’s success in the Miami metropolitan area. This 100% remote, field sales opportunity requires candidates to connect with our central office in Austin while residing locally or being open to relocation.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Penetration and Sales Cycle Management:

  • Identify, prospect, and approach venues within the Miami territory, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to successful closure.
  • Support the activation of early accounts, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.

Strategic Growth Initiatives:

  • Expand our target list by identifying additional prospects that align with Union’s strategic goals.
  • Leverage existing relationships while cultivating new ones, conducting demos to showcase our unique value proposition and secure successful partnerships.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Participate in sales huddles to share insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with our operations teams to ensure that client expectations set during the sales process are met and exceeded in service delivery.

Sales Documentation and Expertise:

  • Utilize our CRM system to meticulously document and manage all sales activities.
  • Stay up to date on the competitive landscape and rapidly build expert-level knowledge of Union’s product functionality.

Qualifications:

To be successful, you will:

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including storytelling, needs analysis, value positioning, business justification, closing techniques, and presentation skills.
  • Possess excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with the ability to sell and negotiate effectively at all decision-making levels.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, showcasing self-motivation, creativity, and flexibility under pressure.
  • Preferably have hospitality experience, ideally at a management level or above.
  • Be a proven sales professional with a history of achieving targets when provided with the right tools.
