At Union, we build tools that make it easier for bars and restaurants to thrive. We’re scaling fast, and to do it smartly, we’re hiring a Go-To-Market Engineer who will work cross-functionally to ensure our revenue engine is built on a solid, scalable foundation.
This is a foundational technical hire on our Revenue Operations team. You’ll work directly with the VP of RevOps and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to build, maintain, and optimize the technical systems and data flows that power our go-to-market teams.
If you’re a systems thinker who enjoys solving business problems with automation, integrations, and data-driven solutions, this is the role.
What You’ll Do
Optimize for Scale and Efficiency
You won’t just manage systems – you’ll proactively analyze how our revenue processes perform and engineer improvements. You’ll dive into the friction points in our lead-to-revenue workflows, identify bottlenecks in pipeline velocity, and design solutions that help us scale without adding headcount. Whether it’s automating repetitive tasks, refining our data models for better reporting, or improving the handoff between Sales and Customer Success, you’ll be a key player in making our revenue engine faster, smarter, and more resilient as we grow.
Engineer Our GTM Systems
You’ll be the primary technical owner for our GTM platforms, including HubSpot, PandaDoc, Arrows, and future tools. You’ll architect how these systems connect, automate workflows, and ensure we have a seamless flow of data across the revenue stack.
Build Automations & Integrations
From lead capture to customer onboarding, you’ll design and implement automations that eliminate manual work, increase velocity, and reduce human error. You’ll own API integrations between our systems and collaborate with engineering when needed for deeper technical support.
Own Data Infrastructure for RevOps
You’ll ensure data cleanliness, build pipelines that sync across systems, and maintain data standards. You’ll help define how we structure objects, properties, and data flows so that our reporting is accurate and scalable.
Support Technical Go-to-Market Needs
You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, and Success teams to provide technical support for initiatives like lead routing, scoring models, territory management, and onboarding workflows. You’ll ensure GTM processes are technically sound and efficient.
Operationalize GTM Metrics & Dashboards
In collaboration with RevOps leadership, you’ll build and maintain dashboards in HubSpot, Tableau, or other BI tools to track conversion rates, funnel velocity, forecasting accuracy, and revenue attribution.
Champion Process & System Improvements
You’ll continuously map out existing workflows, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and propose technical solutions. You’ll also help document processes and train teams on system best practices.
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales/Marketing Ops, Business Systems, or GTM Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM (pipelines, workflows, properties, reports). Familiarity with PandaDoc and Arrows is a plus.
- API integration experience (HubSpot API or similar), no need to be a full-stack developer, but you’re comfortable with low-code/no-code tools (Zapier, Make/Integromat, Workato) and basic scripting if needed.
- Data fluency — you’re proficient in Google Sheets/Excel and comfortable working with datasets, exports, and data models.
- Familiarity with SQL and BI tools (Tableau preferred) is a plus.
- A natural systems thinker who enjoys problem-solving, automating processes, and bringing order to chaos.
- Strong communicator — you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and create documentation that sticks.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but track record and technical problem-solving skills are most important.
What You’ll Get
- Competitive compensation
- Full benefits (health, retirement, PTO, etc.).
- An opportunity to own technical projects from end-to-end and directly impact company growth.
- A collaborative seat in our downtown Austin office, surrounded by a team of curious and driven builders.
