Job Description

Union is seeking a Director/Sr. Manager of Product Marketing to join our growing team on a mission to move the hospitality experience forward for high-volume bars & restaurants with technology that enables everyone to win.  In this role, you will own the strategy and execution of our Product Marketing initiatives to drive the adoption of Union’s platform nationally.  When venues adopt our platform and guest-led service model, they see more than a 20% increase in sales per labor hour and a 28% increase in check size.  That means more money for venues and more tips for their waitstaff! 

In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Product and Operations to build programs and communications that develop and drive product adoption.  The ideal candidate can think big while also diving deep into details to make decisions. You should be highly analytical but also creative, with an eye always on creating the best communications and programs to support our growth. This role will report directly to our Chief Marketing Officer. 


Your Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a best-in-class Product Marketing function to support and drive Union’s product and feature adoption among high-volume bars and restaurants in the US. 
  • Develop product positioning, value propositions, and key messaging to be used in supporting product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement tools. 
  • Build capabilities to drive data and insights into buyer/customer needs and market opportunities to inform new product features, marketing, and sales strategies. 
  • Collaborate with Sales and B2B Marketing teams to drive sales productivity through product knowledge transfer, seller collateral, and value-based talk tracks.
  • Work closely with our Account Management team to support the use of venue-based communications to support product adoption and feature awareness in conjunction with product and brand teams. 
  • Develop & execute the GTM rollout and strategy for all new products and new features, including beta testing and promotional strategy to drive adoption.
  • Plan, create, and publish partner-facing content to support product adoption such as one-pagers, emails, blog posts, website copy, social media assets, and more.
  • Partner with our Product team to deliver feedback and suggestions to develop a best-in-class product(s) that drive our mission

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Product Marketing function, ideal SAAS or hospitality tech experience desired
  • Experience in building and executing GTM launch plans for new products and features
  • Ability to create value propositions that communicate clearly to targeted audiences
  • Previous experience in building and analyzing competitive, market, and customer insights to drive business opportunities
  • Experience in developing email marketing communication and utilizing segmentation to drive conversion
  • Ability to build positive relationships while working across a variety of personalities
  • Problem solver who can think outside the box and develop solutions that scale
  • Ability and desire to take risks and learn fast; startup experience is a plus
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, but also collaborative and able to work with a team
  • Confident and adaptable, passionate about our mission  and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in working in the hospitality industry desired (we want you to understand our customers – owners, GMs, bartenders and customers!)

Pay Range $85,000—$135,000 USD
