In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Product, Onboarding/Activation and Operations to develop product messaging and content that educates the industry on how Union’s offerings solve pain points and drive success for high-volume bars, restaurants, their staff, their guests, and beverage brands. You will position Union as the innovative solution venues have been waiting for.

As a seasoned B2B product marketer, you have a passion for leveraging compelling storytelling and sales enablement to accelerate a company’s growth. You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, driven by a mission to disrupt and transform an industry.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a best-in-class Product Marketing function to support and drive Union’s product and feature adoption among high-volume bars and restaurants in the US.

  • Collaborate with Sales and B2B Marketing teams to drive sales productivity through product knowledge transfer, seller collateral, and value-based talk tracks.
  • Work closely with our account management team to support the use of venue-based communications to support product adoption and feature awareness in conjunction with product and brand teams.
  • Own and maintain a process to build and share competitive insights to propel our messaging and sales differentiation
  • Build capabilities to drive data and insights into buyer/customer needs and market opportunities to inform new product features, marketing, and sales strategies.
  • Develop & execute the GTM rollout and strategy for all new products and new features, including beta testing and promotional strategy to drive adoption.
  • Plan, create, and publish partner-facing content to support product adoption such as one-pagers, emails, blog posts, website copy, social media assets, and more.
  • Partner with our Product team to deliver feedback and suggestions to develop a best-in-class product(s) that drive our mission
  • Build compelling case studies that showcase our success stories and demonstrate value to prospects
  • Own and optimize our email communications to partners, keeping them engaged and informed
  • Update website product pages to ensure they are informative, engaging, and optimized for conversion

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Product Marketing function, ideal SAAS or hospitality tech experience desired
  • Proven track record of developing effective product messaging and sales enablement materials
  • Experience in conducting competitive intelligence and using insights to inform product marketing strategies
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with sales and product teams
  • Ability to create value propositions that communicate clearly to targeted audiences
  • Previous experience in building and analyzing competitive, market, and customer insights to drive business opportunities
  • Experience in developing email marketing communication and utilizing segmentation to drive conversion
  • Ability to build positive relationships while working across a variety of personalities
  • Problem solver who can think outside the box and develop solutions that scale
  • Ability and desire to take risks and learn fast; startup experience is a plus
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, but also collaborative and able to work with a team
  • Confident and adaptable, passionate about our mission  and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in working in the hospitality industry desired (we want you to understand our customers – owners, GMs, bartenders and customers!)
