Job Description

Do you have a passion for social media and the hospitality industry? Do you want to help high-volume bars and venues transform their operations with cutting-edge technology? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Social Media & Content Associate to join our growing team at Union and help us drive and build engagement and brand awareness.

In this role, you will use your social media expertise to showcase some of the busiest and most popular bars across the US, highlighting their unique offerings and driving engagement with a diverse audience. You will also educate venues on the value of implementing technology in their business and help bartenders understand the benefits of working for venues that use Union. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work with our full marketing team to develop and shape the Union brand and telling our story to the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a social media content calendar that showcases the value of Union’s all-in-one engagement platform for high-volume bars and venues through compelling storytelling
  • Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts, to increase audience engagement and drive brand awareness
  • Use social media to educate venues on the benefits of implementing technology in their operations and why bartenders want to work for venues that use Union
  • Analyze social media and marketing performance and provide regular reports to the team, including insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute campaigns that drive lead generation, product adoption in venues, and increase brand awareness through storytelling
  • Work closely with our Account Management team to support and build content to help showcase our venue partners and aid in guest-led ordering adoption
  • Create visually stunning graphics that capture the attention of our target audiences and support our campaigns and messaging
  • Stay up to date with social and industry trends and best practices and leverage appropriately where applicable


  • 3+ years of experience managing social media platforms for B2B or B2C brands, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of creating engaging social media content and driving engagement with diverse audiences
  • Experience educating audiences on the value of technology in a business context
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter, with hunger and curiosity to learn and grow
  • Ability to produce high-quality detailed work in a timely fashion with little supervision.
  • Passion for social media, content creation and the hospitality industry
  • Experience with design tools (Canva) and video editing tools are a plus

Pay Range $55,000—$75,000 USD
